یک برد تاکتیکی!!

هر چی فکر کردم چیز دیگه ای به نظرم نرسید. راجر با تاکتیکی که قبلا کارلوویچ رو برده بود این بار هم او را شکست داد. این بازی برک نداشت. راجر با کشاندن هر دوست به تای برک توانست بر کارلوویچ غلبه کند!راجر  گفت:"شما فقط باید بتوانید که گیم های سرو خودتون رو بگیرید. شانس کمی برای برک کردن کارلوویچ وجود داره!!"   راجر در فینال به مصاف نایمینن خواهد رفت تا ان شاءالله با برد و قهرمانی و حفظ سمت مرد شماره یک تیس جهان در سال 2007!! دل همه ی طرفدارهاش رو شاد کنه. دعا کنید!! راجر در مورد این بازی هم گفت:" من احساس خوبی دارم البته باید تماشاگران هم مرا یاری کنند. نایمینن حریف خطرناکیست. من تمام تلاشم رو برای بردن او انجام خواهم داد"

BASEL, Switzerland (AFP) - Roger Federer fulfilled his home hero status on Saturday, winning a battling tiebreak duel with serve king Ivo Karlovic to set up a Swiss Indoors tournament final with Jarkko Nieminen. Federer held the Croatian giant to a "mere" 16 aces in a 7-6 (8/6), 7-6 (7/5) semi-final win in just over 90 minutes. He takes a 7-0 record into the Sunday title match with Finland's unseeded Jarkko Nieminen, a 7-6 (7/4), 6-2 winner over exhausted 2005 finalist Marcos Baghdatis. Federer, on the brink of his seventh title of 2007 from 11 finals, stands ready to finish number one for the fourth straight year if he lifts a second straight Basel honor. The superb Swiss improved his semi-final record on the season to 11-0, but faced a fight as Karlovic saved two match points in the 10th game of the second set. The Swiss took it into a second tiebreaker of the afternoon; with the top seed reaching a 4-1 lead before Karlovic started closing the gap. Federer profited as the big man netted a volley for two match points. The Swiss favorite, who finished with 10 aces, converted on the second from a Karlovic error. The Swiss will be determined to claim his home title again after finishing runner-up in 2000 and 2001 before his trophy breakthrough a year ago over Fernando Gonzalez. Nieminen, ranked 29th, last played for a title at Stockholm in October 2006, losing to James Blake. The Finn won his first semi-final this season as he beat Baghdatis after losing to the Cypriot at Marseille. The victory in 74 minutes was concluded as Nieminen slammed a forehand winner into the empty court following a break for 5-2. Roger said about today:" You just have to hold your serve against him. The chances to break him are few. He leads all the serve statistics and this indoor surface suits his serve perfectly." And said about final:" Of course I feel good but I will also have the home crowd to help push me to the finish. Jarkko is a dangerous opponent; some in the crowd might underestimate him. But he's beaten some good players and he's a tough player, I'll have to work hard again to beat him. "

هفتمین قهرمانی

خدا رو شکر...شایسته بود و قهرمان شد. امسال نسبت به سال های گذشته کمتر جام گرفته ولی به نظر من که اگر بهتر نبوده بدتر هم نبوده. حالا راجر با این برد خانگی! توانست عنوان اولی خود رو در رنکینگ تا آخر سال حفظ کنه و برای چهارمین فصل متوالی مرد شماره یک باقی بمونه!! فدرر گفت:" بردن در مقابل تماشاگران خانگی بسیار زیباست من امیدوارم که با شادی به خانه هایشان رفته باشند. انها به من خیلی کمک کردند زمانی که در ست دوم 4-4 بودیم و من میتوانستم که برک کنم!"  حالا باید به انتظار مسترز پاریس نشست. جایی که در چند سال اخیر و به علت نزدیکی با مسابقات مستر کاپ استقبال چندانی البته از سوی ستارگان نمی شد ولی این فصل همه چیز تغییر کرده. راجر در مورد این رقابتها هم گفت:" من قرعه بسیار سختی دارم (تشبیه به جهنم میکنه!!) ولی من از بازگشت به پاریس خیلی هیجان زده هستم." من هم همینطور!!

BASEL, Switzerland (AFP) - Roger Federer vows there will be no turning back as he returns to the Paris Masters for the first time in four years after earning top ATP end-of-season ranking honors for the fourth year in a row." I'm not worried about any fitness or fatigue," said the Swiss after earning his eighth victory without a loss over Jarkko Nieminen 6-3, 6-4 to win a second straight Swiss Indoors title on Sunday. "I'll leave on Monday, there's no pulling out now." Federer is riding his usual wave of confidence after producing the 61-minute rout at the hometown stadium where he got his start as a teenaged ball boy. He joins another pantheon of greats how have earned four year-end top spots in the past: Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Ivan Lendl and Pete Sampras. Federer lifted his all in a row. The Swiss has had to miss the Paris event in the Bercy arena for a variety of reasons over the past few years, including saving himself for the elite eight-man season-ending event in Shanghai, the Masters Cup, which he has won for three of the past four years. "It's great not to have to find my game, I can go and try to back this win up right away," he said, "It's a hell of a field and a tough draw. But I'm very excited to be going back." While his mind is focusing on France, Federer's heart remains in Basel, where he gave 9,200 fans a thrilling - if brief - victory. "It's so nice to win in front of the home crowd. The match went a bit quickly, it was gone in an hour. "That might have been hard for fans that came to see me from far, the French-speaking part of the Italian part of the mountains. But in the end, I expect most of them were hoping for me to win. So hopefully they go home happy. "The public really helped me, especially at 4-4 in the second when I was able to break Jarkko."

و گامی دیگر برای مرد شماره یک بودن!!

فدرر با بردی عالی در مقابل کیفر به نیمه نهایی رسید. حتما میدونید که اگر راجر قهرمان بشه عنوان مرد شماره یک جهان رو برای چندمین فصل پیاپی از ان خودش میکنه. راجر در دور بعد با کارلوویچ بازی داره همون ایس زنه معروف که دیروز 38 ایس!!!!! زد تا بازی رو ببره!! ولی راجر یک بار  در تورنتو با او بازی کرد و در روز تولدش!! در دو تای برک کارلوویچ رو شکست داد! امیدوارم که اون برد شیرین تکرار بشه!! راجر بعد از بازی گفت:" از بازی خودم راضی هستم.  من بازی رو در پشت خط کنترل کردم. اینجا توپها بسیار ارام تر از مادرید حرکت می کنند. من الان شارژم( یعنی اینکه خوبم دیگه!!)"

Tennis star Federer to face huge serve of Karlovic in Basel

BASEL, Switzerland (AFP) - Roger Federer beat Nicolas Kiefer for the ninth time in succession on Friday, his 6-3, 6-2 victory earning him a semi-final spot in the Swiss Indoors tournament. The Swiss, who has only lost four sets to Kiefer, will face off at home against big-serving Ivo Karlovic who outlasted Czech fifth seed Tomas Berdych 6-7 (5/7), 7-6 (7/2), 7-6 (15/13). Berdych missed on five match points while Karlovic, winner in Stockholm this month, advanced on his fifth match point, firing 38 aces along the way over more than two and a half hours. The Croatian now totals 1,272 for the season with the all-time mark of 1,477 beckoning - a shortage of 205. Federer can assure himself of another year as world number one if he lifts the title for the second year in a row on Sunday. He already heads the season-wrap up Masters Cup in Shanghai atop the eight man field. Three spots remain to be determined,  Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Nikolay Davydenko and Andy Roddick have booked spots. Federer ran his record to 61-7 this season of six titles. The Swiss hometown boy went down a break in the first set before getting it back and punishing Kiefer to take the 71-minute match. "I'm happy with how I played, "said the Swiss. "I controlled from the baseline. This surface is a lot slower than when we played last week in Madrid. There we could barely control the balls. I felt I was totally in charge. I'm glad I could manage to take advantage."

بردی قاطع در 58 دقیقه!!

دیگه مطمئن شدم که راجر مادرید رو فراموش کرده ، هر چند از زمانی که لحظات منتخب بازی با برر رو دیدم کمی در شک هستم!!! ولی جالب اینه که راجر باز هم در کمتر از یک ساعت یک پیروزی بدست آورد. راستی راجر در دور بعد باید به مصاف کیفر بره همون که در نیمه نهایی مادرید شکستش داد. امیدوارم  که این بار هم شکست بده! راجر بعد از این بازی گفت:" من از نوع بازی راضی هستم. من خطاهای خودم رو به حداقل رسوندم. امروز من احساس راحتی بیشتری نسبت به بازی اول داشتم"

Federer faultless in run into Basel tennis quarter-finals

BASEL, Switzerland (AFP) - Roger Federer eased into the quarter-finals of his hometown ATP event here Thursday with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Argentine teenager Juan del Potro. Top seeded holder Federer was untested in brushing aside Del Potro in 58 minutes which puts the Swiss into a Friday match against German Nicolas Kiefer. Federer improved his Basle win streak to 7-0 a week after Del Potro had beaten his first Top ten opponents. But that milestone meant little to Federer, who is tracking towards another year of world number one status and hoping to prime for the November 11 start of the eight-man Masters Cup in Shanghai by winning at home for a second straight year."I was happy with how the match went," said the winner. "I got out of the blocks fast and when he made errors I took advantage. I kept my errors to a minimum. Today I felt much more comfortable than in the first match." Kiefer crushed Austrian Stefan Koubek 6-3, 6-2 but has lost his last eight meetings with Federer dating to June, 2003.
